Our Other Pets

Willow enjoying the hills and heather near Loch Lomond. Willow is a rescued Working type English Setter from Wiccaweys rescue. She is the dog I waited all my life for, and a fantastic companion. Willow came over from Ireland where she was being trained as a gundog but failed, resulting in her being beaten and then unwanted. She is a fantastically loyal dog who loves nothing better than running around woods and hills and swimming in rivers. She has endless energy but is happy to lie on her bit of the sofa in the evenings with her head on my knee.

This is Fionnula. She is a rescued Syberian Hamster with markings similar to an Irish rat (hence her name). She is an "extreme sports hamster" and loves to swing form the top bars of her cage and the jump onto the top of her wheel.

Landon (Tabby and white). Landon was from a neighbour of Nick's whose cat had kittens. He is Jacob's cat and is about 8 months old now. Landon is still very much the playful kitten, even though he is now as big as some of the adults.

Fishy (Dark tortoiseshell). Fishy is a rescue cat. Nick has her sister Toe Rag! Fishy is quite allof and will only come for fuss when she wants it.

Taylor (Black smoke and white). Taylor is a Norwegian Forest Cat and our newest arrival. He is Dan's cat, and hopefully we will show him in the future. Taylor is a friendly, comical young boy. Typical of his breed and a real bundle of fun.

Bella. Bella is a rescue cat. I'm not sure what colour she is but her ears are tortoiseshell. She is a real cuddly baby and likes nothing better that to curl up on your lap or shoulder and give you a wash. She is a really quiet, sweet baby and just about 6 months old. She was advertised on Freecycle as her owners couldn't look after her anymore.

Bella with Boe (Grey and White). Boe came from the same Freecycle ad as Bella. He's not keen on the other cats (except for Bella and spends most of his time upstairs at the moment. We hope he will get braver in time. He is very friendly, likes a fuss and loves his food.

Orion (Brown spotted tabby). Orion is a British Shorthair. Another cat I intend to show one day. Orion is a real life Bagpuss and the feline equivalent of a teddy bear.

Breakfast time. You can just about see Tippy and Topsy on this picture. Individual pics of them will follow.

Still to come are pics of Boris, the dwarf hamster, Oreo the spotty rabbit, and proper pics of Tippy and Topsy.
